Woman faces charges in Denpasar court carrying 5 years for ganja joint

Prosecutors are reportedly recommending five years prison for a woman arrested over a joint.

On top of that, they are also demanding that Ade Mulyani, 31, get a Rp 800 million fine and subsidiary four-month prison sentence, reports Antara Bali.

In a session led by Chief Justice Wayan Sukanila in Denpasar on Tuesday, Mulyani, Citra Maya Sari read the indictment for the 0.25 gram joint Mulyani was caught with on April 8, earlier this year.

At the time of Mulyani’s interview by the police, she apparently admitted her guilt for the illicit drugs purchased in Denpasar.

Mulyani will have the opportunity to plead her case in the next session. We’ll see whether the judges are lenient with her or not.
