Wedding decorator arrested for stealing money envelopes at newlywed couple’s reception

You know those amplops that everyone gives to people at their weddings? Well not surprisingly, if you run off with those, you can really haul out.

That’s apparently what one wedding decorator did in Bali.

I Made Sudita was arrested by North Kuta Police for taking a box of envelopes belonging to his client,  Laura Olgha Ririhena, 26, according to Tribun Bali

The wedding reception was reportedly at Pure Villa, Jl. Aseman Bagus I, Tibubeneng Village, North Kuta on Saturday.

North Kuta Criminal Police Iptu Yoan Septi Hendri explained to Tribun that Ririhena noticed that there was no box with envelopes from the guests when everyone was cleaning up the reception.

When she asked around, apparently the box was returned but there was only one envelope in it—which she promptly reported to the police.

Hendri says they were able to track down Sudita using CCTV and arrested him at his home on Tuesday, where they found a single envelope containing USD200 and Rp 1.3 million.
