The latest video gone viral in Bali shows just how brilliant some people can be.
A pair of tourists for some crazy reason thought it would be a good idea to lie down on their stomaches in the middle of a Bali road, apparently bringing the Indonesian translation for speed bump, polisi tidur (literally: sleeping policeman), to life.
In the video, the two foreign men are seen lying facedown on their stomachs, totally blocking the narrow road as two men on motorbikes approach. While one of the drivers hits the brakes, the other briefly pauses before proceeding to drive right over one of the turis tidur (sleeping tourists), who quickly flips over so his front side takes the direct hit.
While the video has garnered over 39k views after getting shared by Bali Terkini to both their Instagram and Facebook accounts on Sunday, it’s not really clear when the stunt gone wrong was recorded.
Indonesian netizens have been overwhelmingly supportive of the drivers’ actions, wondering what the “crazy bule (westerners)” were doing.
“Probably drunk,” some commenters concluded.
While some Bali netizens pondered whether the whole video was just a stunt, we’ve got to say, it’s literally a painfully stupid one, if so.
