A clip depicting a foreign woman “cleaning up” at a beach in Bali while her friend took snaps of the action – presumably for social media clout – before leaving the big trash bag behind has made the rounds on social media worldwide over the weekend.
The video, taken from afar, reportedly belongs to Bali-based model Alysha Bandy, who was said to be shocked by what she saw and decided to share the clip on her Instagram. The clip was later shared Bali-wide and even went viral globally, as netizens roasted the unidentified woman.
Coconuts Bali has reached out to Bandy for confirmation.
“She forgot to put herself in the plastic bag,” said Instagram user @desymada in her comment on the post.
In the video, the woman, who was wearing gym attire (a common outfit in Bali, especially in fitness influencer haven Canggu), is seen being filmed by her friend as she prepares a trash bag to clean up a beach in Bali.
After the filming is done, she “celebrates” by giving a thumbs up to the camera and doing a little dance… before leaving the trash bag behind.
