A series of videos and photos show the horrifying moment after a tourist in Bali fell an estimated hundred feet or more down the face of a cliff in the island’s Uluwatu, allegedly in search of his lost drone.

A post showing the bloodied foreigner being evacuated was shared to Facebook by Indonesian man Luckman Angga on Tuesday.

Somehow alive after the massive drop down, the man,  identified as Reinier, a Mexican national, can be seen in a seated position, moaning in pain, covered in blood at the foot of a limestone Uluwatu cliff.

In one of the videos, Reinier tries to quickly stand up but clutches his leg and is told by a local man at the scene to wait for the help that’s coming. In another video, Balawista, lifeguards, and other locals can are seen muscling the wounded man up the steep cliff on a stretcher.

The man fell from the cliff at Uluwatu Beach, on Feb. 27, 2018. The man was playing with his drone but fell down the cliff looking for it, Luckman wrote on Facebook.

It was the Mexican’s driver who first realized that the man had fallen from the cliff, Luckman told Coconuts Bali.

“The driver went to lifeguards for help, saying that his guest has fallen from the cliff. The lifeguards went to him with people from the scene,” Luckman explained.

A friend of the Mexican, Alvin Tang, told Coconuts Bali that Reinier is currently receiving treatment at BIMC in Nusa Dua.

A GoFundMe page has been set up for Reinier’s forthcoming medical expenses, seeking to raise EUR50,000.

“He needs three major surgeries as his scalp is open, his arm is severely damaged and he has broken facial bones.

“Whoever you are and wherever you are in this world, please help our friend if you can, we are deeply grateful for any contribution. His family is doing their best to provide the money, but the situation is very urgent,” reads the crowdfunding page’s bio.
