Video produced to help those confused by Kuta traffic changes

A handy video has been put together to help those confused by HUGE changes happening with Kuta’s traffic directional flows.

In an experiment to reduce Kuta’s awful congestion, police are running a month-long experiment changing up the directional flow of the tourist town’s traffic. 

Wednesday marked the first of the trial, and not surprisingly, people seem to be quite lost. 

Police have been socializing their plan since early January, but clearly, not everyone got the memo. 

Reporters from local newspaper Tribun Bali noticed that the two worst places prone jams now are Jl. Dewi Sri and also Bemo Corner Kuta. 

Denpasar Traffic Police, the Badung Department of Transportation, and pecalang have all deployed personnel to help conduct the new flows and help monitor the traffic situation. 

The traffic trial will run until Feb. 28.
