A Bali Province government official has reportedly tested positive for drug use.
The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) for Bali Province ran urine testing on Thursday for government officials and that’s when four urine tests apparently appeared positive—though after further examination, BNN said only one appeared convincingly positive for drug use.
“Yes, during a urine test we did the other day, there were four urine samples of council members who allegedly tested positive for drugs,” BNN Bali Province Head Brig. Gen. Putu Gede Suastawa told Tribun Bali on Friday morning.
But only one of the four tested positive for meth, and that’s the only official BNN sees as real suspect for drug abuse, Suastawa explained.
The identity of said government official has so far been kept quiet.
