Uluwatu entrance fee to go up, but just sedikit

An adjustment will be made to the tariff to get into Uluwatu. But it’s nothing to get your panties in a bunch over, the price raise isn’t that bad, especially if you’re a foreign tourist who has come all the way down to Bukit to see the famous temple.

The admission fee increase has reportedly already been approved the by both the Bali Provincial and Badung tourism office.

“In March, there will be a tariff adjustment to get into the outer zone of the destination of Uluwatu. The adjustment will be up Rp 5,000 for each category,” Uluwatu Business Manager I Wayan Wijana said on Thursday afternoon, as quoted by Tribun Bali

So that means you can just add Rp 5k to the current rates for foreigners of Rp 20k/adult and Rp 10k/child or add it to the current rate for locals, Rp 15k/adult and Rp 5k/child, Wijana said.

But at least you get something for your extra Rp 5k, according to the business manager—more public restrooms are supposed to be added and the parking lot should get expanded.
