Two men suspected of involvement in a stabbing over the weekend, reportedly turned themselves in to West Denpasar Police.
The stabbing reportedly occurred on the night of September 18, during a clash between two “groups” of young men on Jl. Pidada, Ubung Kaja, and left victims Usman, 20, and Irwan, 40, in need of emergency surgery.
The two men who came forward, claiming to be guilty, were identified as Sy and RV by Tribun Bali.
“They have surrendered. Both are directly related to the case,” Denpasar detective Wisnu Wardana told Tribun on Monday.
The detective says Sy is suspected of assault and of stabbing the two victims, as the victims have reportedly identified him. While, RV has so far been identified as a witness and the extent of his involvement in the stabbing is still under investigation.
