The bodies of a set of twins were allegedly dumped in Buleleng, North Bali.
The infants’ bodies were reportedly discovered on Friday night, around 7 pm at the ex-port in Buleleng, reports Tribun Bali. The two little girls’ bodies were reportedly found on the ground about three meters apart.
At first police apparently had a hard time determining if the bodies were human or animals since it was already dark, but once they realized they were in fact human, the bodies were directly taken to the public hospital in Buleleng.
The bodies were later sent to Sanglah Hospital in Denpasar to forensics, where medical examiners performed an autopsy on Tuesday.
Forensics from Sanglah told Tribun that the infants appeared to have spent six or seven months in their mother’s womb and did not experience a “normal birth.”
Police are hunting down the people responsible for leaving behind these infants, Ketut Gelgel of Buleleng Police told Tribun Bali on Tuesday.
