Two women were killed in a horrible accident on Tuesday evening in Tabanan, Bali.
A truck carrying bricks flipped over on its side, taking the lives of two female passengers and injuring four other female passengers at about 7:30 pm. The women were buried by bricks when the truck overturned since they had been riding in the back.
The truck had been driving in the residential area of BTN Griya Tanah Bang, Desa Banjar Anyar, when trying to pass another car. The lip of the road gave out under the truck’s weight and the vehicle flipped, Tabanan Traffic Police Chief I Wayan Sudita told Tribun Bali. What a scary reminder of how dangerous under-maintained roads can be.
“The driver has been named as a suspect and has been examined at the police station in Tabanan,” Sudita added.
