Even though a chairman candidate apparently dozed off during a live broadcast during the Golkar conference that’s currently being held at BNDCC (the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center), the event is anything but a snoozefest.
As per usual, a fresh controversy has brewed up while the yellow-jacketed politicians talk their politics—this time it’s not a food fight, but reportedly because a Baladika Bali member was forcibly denied entry into the Munaslub party meeting on Monday afternoon.
When the Baladika member was not allowed in, other Baladika members went crazy and got a bit violent, reports said.
“(The Baladika member) was not allowed to enter. (He) was arrested, but was cursing,” Bali Police Brimob Chief Commissioner Laksana told Tribun Bali.
The man in question was not permitted entry because he did not have a Munaslub ID card and no non-Munaslub were being allowed in, police explained, confirming the incident to local media.
“He did not have an ID card, but still broke in,” Laksana said.
