Swedish woman bound to bed in Sanglah Hospital after resisting treatment

A bule apparently objected so strongly to her treatment at a hospital in Denpasar that she fought back and had to be restrained by a team of officers after a “rampage” at Bali’s airport.

The Swedish woman reportedly had both her hands and feet fastened to her hospital bed (in a non 50 Shades of Grey sort of way).

The woman, identified only as Carolina in reports, had to be supervised by four medical officers in Sanglah Hospital, according to Tribun Bali

Carolina reportedly was admitted to Sanglah around 5 pm Thursday evening by two police officers and a security guard from Ngurah Rai Airport, because of her apparent rage.

“The bule was supposedly on a rampage at the airport, maybe because of a mental problem,” a security guard at Sanglah told Tribun Bali, who declined to give his name.

As of writing time, there has yet to be an official statement from the hospital about whether or not Carolina is suspected of suffering from a mental disorder.
