Still no luck locating the missing little, police are turning to alternative methods to try and bring her back home.
Eight-year-old Angeline has been missing from her home in Sanur for almost one week.
Along with deploying K-9 unit sniffer dogs and publicizing Angeline’s disappearance throughout Bali and even some in Java, police have turned to rituals and prayers for the missing girl.
At Angeline’s family home on Jl. Tuberose on Thursday, a number of police officers brought in a shaman to hold a special ritual, reports Tribun Bali.
The shaman, Jro Kerek, was called down from Singaraja in this desperate time. The 110-year-old man burnt incense, as a number of police officers prayed at the nearby temple Pura Batu Bolong and prepared offerings, according to Tribun’s account.
During a group prayer, Jro Kerek passed a photo of Angeline amongst police officers, as one sadly uttered for her to go home, and sorry for her family, Tribun reports.
