You never know what forgotten treasures you may unearth when deep cleaning your house for some good ‘ol fashion spring cleaning.
But usually that doesn’t include a bucket full of bullets hidden in your house that you never knew about.
A West Denpasar man, I Ketut Antara, 48, was shocked to uncover hundreds of pieces of ammunition hiding in an old paint bucket in his garage on Monday.
Not the sort of spring cleaning that he had in mind.
A total of 159 rounds of live ammunition were found in the house, according to Merdeka.
This was apparently the first time Antara cleaned the garage and gone through the bucket stored in the corner.
The backstory behind the bullets may not be that juicy though—the bullets are believed to have belonged to the late father (I Made Dana) of the former tenant (I Made Sukarta).
Dana is known to have been active with Perbakin (shooting and hunting community). The bullets have since been handed over to the police.
