Social media campaign drives search for Tunisian man missing in Bali for over 2 weeks

A flight attendant working for Qatar Airways has been missing in Bali for more than two weeks, according to a social media campaign attempting to locate the man. 

Aziz Farhat, a Tunisian national, has not been seen or heard from since Oct. 18, 2016, posters circulating Bali social media say. 

 

 

The 25-year-old was last seen at 4 am on Oct. 18 leaving Troppo Zone Puri Rama Resort Kuta. Two staff remember him, he arrived at 1:45 am and did not unpack, and said he was getting something to eat. Next he went to “Tubes Bar and Restaurant Bali” and then to a beach party, according to the “missing” poster, as well as a post shared by Tourist Police – FCC Bali.

Farhat was due to checkout on Oct. 23 and return to work on Oct. 31. The consulate has been advised, meanwhile a police report has been filed, netizens have said on social media about the missing man.
