Saudi King Salman is apparently so taken with Bali that he is extending his holiday time here.

The king and his entourage of more than 1,000 were originally scheduled to vacay in Bali from March 4 to 9, but they are adding on an extra three days and will instead depart on March 12, according to local media.

The Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Jakarta confirmed the schedule change, reports VIVA.

Meanwhile, Bali Police spokesman, Assistant Police Chief Commissioner Heng Hidjaja also confirmed the news and said the trip’s lengthening will also include the king’s entourage.

“Yes, the (extended trip) applies to the entire group,” Widjaja said on Tuesday, as quoted by VIVA News.

Widjaja said he did not know the king’s agenda for his stay in Bali in great detail, but told press that Bali’s “stable climate” and “beautiful beaches” were what made the king want to prolong his trip.
