Robert Ellis murder: maids testify victim’s wife gave ‘kill order’

The Indonesian woman accused of ordering a hit on her Australian husband claims she only asked for him to be taken care of, but her maids testified to a judge that she gave a “kill order.”

Julaikah Noor Aini aka Noor Ellis is standing trial up against premeditated murder charges for the death of her businessman husband. Robert Ellis’ body was found in October 2014 in a rice field ditch wrapped in plastic with the throat slashed.

On Wednesday during Noor Ellis’ trial, the maids said in Denpasar court that the five men (some of which were the maids’ boyfriends) who allegedly killed Robert Ellis were told to kill him, not vaguely “take care of him,” as Noor Ellis has been claiming, reports News Corp Australia

The maids were identified by News Corp reports as Marlina Bela Saghu, alias Feli, and Yuliana Bili, alias Yane.

When pushed on what Ellis asked of the five men, Feli told Judge Beslin Sihombing that it was “to kill,” reports News Corp.

Yane also testified in court that the men were told “to kill Mr. Bob,” according to News Corp.

The women say they were not in the Ellis family kitchen at the time Robert Ellis was attacked, but admitted to cleaning up the blood afterwards, Feli saying because it was her orders and Yane because she was scared, reports say.

The next episode of this court case will reportedly be next Wednesday.
