Security guard wanted: Too many ‘naughty’ couples doing the hanky panky in garden, complains local resident

A resident of Desa Batu Agung has made a request to Jembrana local authorities to supply a security guard and patrol his garden. But it’s not the thieves he’s worried about —it’s naughty schoolkids being a little too intimate in the bushes.
 
The resident’s garden is located next to a river, also a popular public bathing area, in Desa Batu Agung. According to information obtained by Tribun Bali, it’s also a popular place for young couples to hide when they want to engage in a little hanky panky.
 
The resident admits that the antics of these young couples has left his wallet a little dry – after every misbehavior, the resident performs an offering ritual so that his garden doesn’t get tarnished. Each offering can cost him up to Rp 500,000.
 
With all the scandals coming out of Bali recently, we wonder how many more of these “hiding spots” are in Bali – and whether other residents will also start requesting security guards in these spots to patrol the sneaky couples.
