Regent of Klungkung sits down with water company PDAM to address wide complaints

With complaints from the public building up over water issues, the regent of Klungkung (in East Bali) sat down with the state water company PDAM to try and get things to change for the better.

In a nearly two hour meeting, Regent Nyoman Suwirta sat down with PDAM Klungkung’s joint board of directors, supervisors, and other employees in Semarapura on Tuesday afternoon, reports Tribun Bali

The regent apparently demanded surveys be done so PDAM can know what the situation on the ground is and prevent problems before they happen, instead of just retroactively addressing complaints.

Getting things addressed before they become too big of a problem? Sounds great, let’s just hope for Klungkung residents’ sake that PDAM can get it together.
