Rabies vaccine finally gets restocked in Bali

After concerns of a dwindling rabies vaccine supply in Bali, which even prompted reports of increased dog culling, the Ministry of Health says a bulk supply was finally delivered on Sunday.

Ketut Suarjaya, head of Bali’s Provincial Health Office confirmed with Tribun Bali that 7,200 doses of the vaccine arrived at last.

“Yes, it’s a bit safer now. The stock is over 7,200 (rabies vaccines) now,” Suarjaya told Tribun on Friday after a meeting with Bali’s governor, Made Mangku Pastika.
