Python plucked from Sanur home

Bali’s got a hefty population of snakes, many of which like to cozy up in roofs and cohabitate (uninvited) with people.

Denpasar Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) put their snake-catching skills to good use on Wednesday morning.

The agency responded at 6:30 am to a call from Sanur resident Made Kicen, 50, who had the snake in his home.

Photos posted to the BPDB Denpasar city Facebook page show the big snake being extracted from the roof, along with officers grinning and posing with the snake.

Glad Pak Kicen can get some much deserved rest now!
