Protesters picketed the trial of an elderly Australian man accused of molesting a number of children in Bali.
Around seven people, reported as members of a local NGO, lined up outside Denpasar District Court, urging Bali to protect its children and execute Australian national Robert Andrew Fiddel Ellis, an Epa journalist reported.

Some of the signs held up by protesters read “Save Bali children from pedophile” in both English and Indonesian, along with “Pedophile offenders should be castrated or die.”
The 69-year-old is facing charges for allegedly sexually abusing 16 girls between the ages of 8 and 17 over a two year period in Bali.
