Prosecutors made their sentencing recommendations for a Denpasar cafe singer on Wednesday for meth—and lucky for her it’s significantly lighter than the 12-year maximum penalty for drug possession.
Karmila Sari, 35, could get five years in prison with a fine of Rp 800 million and a subsidiary six months behind bars, for 0.22 grams of meth, if the court follows the prosecution’s demands, reports Antara Bali.
Sari was arrested by police at her kos on Jl. Padang Galak Sanur, East Denpasar on May 4, 2015 based on a public tip.

Police searched her room and found the meth hidden in her bra, along with a bong in the same room.
Previous reports said the singer could get as much as 12 years in prison for the meth possession.
