Police in Denpasar are trying to find more about the baby’s corpse that was discovered in a dumpster on Monday morning that was initially mistaken for a dead puppy.
Puzzled over who tossed out the infant like trash in the Jl. Tukad Badung river area, the police are searching for leads on the baby, reports Tribun Bali.
One challenging factor for their search is that the river bordering the road where the baby was found is quite long and could have washed up in the garbage from quite a ways, according to Tribun.
“We are still going to find out who did it,” said Denpasar police chief Nanang Priasmoko.
Despite all the challenges of learning the baby’s story, Priasmoko is adamant that police will learn the truth.
