In a sick and twisted turn of events, a woman stabbed her baby to death, shortly after giving birth to it in Sesetan, Denpasar last week.
The baby was reportedly found with three stab wounds on its stomach, chest, and neck. AL apparently told police that after giving birth to the baby in the bathroom, she was furious when she saw that the baby’s face resembled her boyfriend’s.
Now after the woman identified as AL, 20, has already been arrested, police continue their search for the baby’s father, who allegedly abandoned AL before she gave birth.
So far, the police don’t know for sure who the baby’s father even is, reports Tribun Bali.
“It’s not clear who the boyfriend is. There is no address or other information (for him). His work place was just revealed as Gatsu (Gato Subroto),” South Denpasar Police Chief Nanang Priasmoko told Tribun Bali.
Meanwhile, as police keep trying to learn more about the slain baby’s father, the mother, AL will reportedly undergo a second psychological examination.
After the examination, police will do a reconstruction of the crime scene, Priasmoko told Tribun.
