Police catch kos thief in North Bali

There are times when police really do catch the small fish thieves that at times seem impossible to trace.

Police in North Bali arrested a thief wanted for stealing from a kos in Sukasada, Buleleng.

Sukasada Police arrested Dodik Haikal, 21, on Friday at his home in Tegalinggah. Haikal seemed to know what it was about, as he did not resist arrest, Sukasada Police chief Gede Arya Wibawa told Tribun Bali

Haikal was previously wanted by police for stealing from a kos (boardinghouse) on Jl. Srikandi, Sambangan Village. The young man reportedly stole Rp 1.2 million cash, a smart phone, and a laptop, which together made for an estimated total loss of Rp 10 million.

Wibawa says the arrest was made from “intel.”
