Instead of the standard IDR2,000 for parking at Sanur Beach, you can now expect to pay IDR4,000 for motorbike parking on New Year’s Eve.
Although still affordable and pretty cheap, we are not going to totally laugh off this one off since hey, that is a 100 percent price spike. Those parkir guys know they have the market cornered, but then again they are working on New Year’s Eve, so maybe if you are feeling generous, you should just give them a clean IDR5,000.
But not surprisingly, this price climb is not deterring people from parking their motorbikes at Sanur, reports Tribun Bali. It’s still affordable, so it’s not really a problem says Rahamat Ariadi, a beach-goer.
