This story’s another friendly reminder for folks in Bali to keep their motorbikes locked, when there’s not a parkir guy looking out for your vehicle.
A young opportunistic man apparently seized the moment and stole a motorbike in Denpasar on Thursday evening when someone left it unlocked.
Fery Andika, 18, apparently stole the bike from a boarding house on Jl. Pulau Bangka, Pedungan, Denpasar, around 8:30 pm, by quietly pushing it away down the road.
The motorbike reportedly belonged to Ahmad Hasby A, who luckily noticed pretty quickly that his motorbike was missing and was able to quickly report it to the police.
Soon after, police reportedly found Andika not too far from the scene with the blue Honda Supra X bike.
“We have already secured (the bike). While today we still ask for more information. His account is not always consistent,” South Denpasar Police Chief Nanang Prihasmoko told Tribun Bali.
