Carrying heavy objects on one’s head seems to be a talent mastered by many Balinese.
We’ve seen a woman driving with an Aqua galon on her head and for the special occasion of Kartini Day, two women topped that by carrying 50 kilograms of offerings on their heads to temple.
The latest balancing achievement in Bali appears to have been captured in a viral video of a man driving his motorbike carrying a basket stacked high with offerings on his head.
Posted to Facebook by Oman Dollo on Nov. 25, 2016, the video is appropriately captioned, “Hanya ada di Bali” or “Only in Bali.”
The video has been viewed over 55k times since Dollo posted it and commenters suggest that it appears to be in Gianyar.
