North Bali grape grower arrested for drug dealing

Buleleng Police have arrested a grape farmer for allegedly dealing drugs.

Head of Buleleng Police’s Drug Investigation Division Made Agus Dwi Wirawan confirmed on Wednesday that the farmer was arrested, adding that 0.7 grams of methamphetamine was confiscated from Nyoman Juli Agusanto alias Bakor, 35.

“Bakor was involved in supplying meth for Kadut and Gusti Moyo, who were arrested before. We pursued Bakor as a suspect to Denpasar and after his arrest, he admitted to assembling his bong himself,” Wirawan said, as quoted by Antara Bali

Apparently this wasn’t just any old bong, but a special “electric” bong to “make it more palatable,” according to Bakor.

Upon further investigation, packets of meth were found tucked in Bakor’s wife’s scarf.

“Bakor asked for the help of his wife to hide the methamphetamine in the folds of her scarf,” Wirawan said.

Bakor is facing narcotics charges that carry a max penalty of 12 years.
