A local fisherman in Pacung Village, Buleleng was shocked to discover a dead man floating in the water on Wednesday when going out to make his catch.
“The body was found by a fisherman who was fishing on the coastal area,” said Chief of Buleleng Police’s Water Unit Putu Ariyana, as quoted by Rima News.
Ariyana said the body had already started decomposing by the time it was found and was wearing long pants and a white shirt.
Police have not yet been able to identify the corpse, that is believed to have been dead for about a month. And so the investigation begins.
