Schapelle Corby may appear to have a glow to some, but it’s not pregnancy-induced, her parole officers reportedly say.
Mercedes Corby has been adamant that her infamous sister Schapelle is not pregnant despite talk saying otherwise cycling through the rumor mill and trashy Aussie tabloids.
Now joining Mercedes in stomping out pregnancy rumors is one of the 38-year-old Aussie’s parole officers.
Gabrielle Dunlevy of AAP reports that Corby’s Bali parole officers do not believe she is pregnant, but that the drug trafficker even appears “sexier” in recent months with her fuller figure.
Officer Ni Ketut Sukati says she last saw Corby on August 10. Sukati dismissed reports claiming Corby is trying to get pregnant, along with rumors that Corby has plans to marry Indonesian ex-boyfriend Ben Panangian.
“She’s doing well now, she looks fresher and more cheerful,” she said, as quoted by AAP.
“I don’t think she’s pregnant, she’s not wearing pregnancy clothes, and if she was pregnant, she would tell us,” she said.
“I ask her if she wants to marry and she always says not yet, it’s still a long way off, and she wants to marry someone from outside Bali.”
Corby was convicted in 2005 of smuggling marijuana in her boogie board bag. She was sentenced to 20 years in prison, but in February 2014 was released on parole until August 2017.
Though Corby has been spotted multiple times with Panangian, she has denied that they are together and her sister Mercedes recently told News Corp Australia that her sister is single.
