It looks like Tesla CEO, and, more recently, Twitter boss Elon Musk is going to be in Bali this month to attend the 2022 Business 20 (B20) Indonesia Summit.
According to a post on B20 Summit’s official Instagram page, Musk is scheduled to appear alongside Anindya Bakrie, the son of business tycoon and politician Aburizal Bakrie, in a session called “Navigating Future Disruption of Global Technological Innovation.”
Bakrie Jr., also the chairman of the supervisory board of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (Kadin), confirmed Musk’s attendance on his Instagram post.
Musk’s visit has also been confirmed by the chairman of the Bali chapter of Kadin, Made Ariandi.
“Yes, that is true. Elon Musk will attend the B20 Summit in Bali,” he said.
Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair is also set to appear at the summit, scheduled for Nov. 13 and 14. Blair will appear alongside Unilever CEO Alan Jope and Indonesia’s former Minister of Trade Marie Elka Pangestu, who is currently one of the managing directors of World Bank, in a session called “Investing in Inclusive Growth for a Resilient Future.”
In May, Shinta Kamdani, who chairs the B20 Indonesia 2022 forum, confirmed that Musk, as well as Microsoft founder Bill Gates, are among those scheduled to make an appearance.
