The Island of Gods has witnessed yet another bizarre incident involving a foreign tourist, leaving locals and netizens in shock.
This time, social media users in Bali were taken aback by images and videos circulating on the internet, showing a foreign woman, completely unclothed, nonchalantly posing in front of a shop in the Benoa area of South Kuta.
The explicit content quickly went viral on various social media platforms, grabbing public attention since yesterday.
Subsequent investigations have revealed that the woman in question hails from Croatia. She has been identified by her initials LS, 25.
LS reportedly flaunted her figure in front of the commercial complex on Jalan Pratama in Benoa, South Kuta, Badung.
Unsurprisingly, her actions sent shockwaves through the local community, prompting concerned citizens to swiftly report the foreign woman’s audacious behavior to the local authorities.
Law enforcement was quick to respond. A joint team consisting of officers from the South Kuta Police and the Badung Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) managed to apprehend LS without delay.
Further investigations by both the Immigration authorities and the police revealed that LS had been staying at the Nikko Bali Benoa Beach Hotel during her time in Bali.
“The person in question (LS) has been handed over to Immigration authorities,” confirmed South Kuta Police Chief Nyoman Karang Adiputra in a statement to the media.
LS’ peculiar actions have sparked a flurry of reactions from the online community. Frustration abounds among netizens, who have grown weary of the antics displayed by certain foreign tourists during their stays in Bali.
Many are now calling on Immigration to take stringent measures against foreign nationals who disrupt Bali’s tourism industry.
