After going missing hours ago, a woman in Amplapura, Bali was reportedly found close to her home, dead, at the bottom of a well.
Ni Wayan Mastini, 32, was found by her brother-in-law, I Komang Gede Darmaputra, on Sunday around 9 am when he went searching for her, reports Tribun Bali.
Mastini had been missing since the night before her body was found, according to her husband.
“Around 11 pm, Saturday, my wife went out of the house. I thought she was going to the bathroom,” the victim’s husband, I Kadek Armawan testified to police in Rendang, Amplapura.
Armawan had apparently accused his wife of having an affair before she left the house, to which she reportedly denied repeatedly. Perhaps she couldn’t take the pressure from her husband and decided to off herself?
From the autopsy report, the medical examiner team saw no signs of violence on the victim’s body and the cause of her death is still be investigated, Aiptu I Ketut Dasta, PR for Karangasem Police told Tribun.
