The recent arrest of a drug mule in Bali confirms what we pretty much all know to be true: being in the drug trade sure can be lucrative.

The mule says he would get paid up to Rp 20 million for bringing drugs from Java to Bali, according to reports.

Police arrested the mule, T, on Feb. 26, along with two dealers.

“We got the information from the public to monitor him and so on. The three suspects were arrested at different times and operated in one network,” Bali Police Spokesman Heng Widjaja said on Thursday, as quoted by Tribun Bali.

From the three, meth weighing 1.7 kilos and 2,337.5 ecstasy pills were reportedly confiscated.

“T would get paid Rp 10 to Rp 20 million,” Widjaja said.

Police say they are still investigating the drug network the three perps were involved with.
