A man in Bali is likely currently face-palming after a woman who he claims seduced him, ditched him and took his car.
But lucky for Made Dr, 39, the scamming woman identified by Merdeka as Mahmudah, 34, has reportedly already been taken into custody with her accomplice Ahmad Afandi, 35, in their hometown of Situbondo, East Java.
According to Yana Jaya Widya of Bangli police, Dr had been driving by Hotel Ibah Ubud, Gianyar, when he saw a woman squatting in a “dreamy” way. Noticing her flirtatious gaze, Dr says he pulled over and directly approached the woman.
The two wound up staying in the tourist area of Toya Bungkah, Kintamani and allegedly had sexual intercourse twice, Widya told Merdeka on Monday. But the two also had apparently shared some beers.
“The perpetrator admits to putting sleeping pills into the drinks after having sex the second time,” Widya explained.
After Dr fell asleep, Mahumdah allegedly took off with his car and picked up her accomplice Afandi in Buleleng.
But they could not outrun the police.
Widya says the two could get a minimum of five years behind bars for their joy ride.
