Man gets electrocuted while working on project in Denpasar State Administrative Court

A 25-year-old man from East Java reportedly died from electrical shock on Thursday while working on a project for State Administrative Court of Denpasar.

Muslimin was found dead with his mouth foaming, reports Tribun Bali

Clerk of the court’s secretary I Wayan Sukerta told Tribun that the court is coordinating with the relevant contractor of the project that resulted in Muslimin’s death.

He said the contractor has been willing to bear all needs of the victim, including repatriation to Muslimin’s home in Pasuruan, East Java.

“Meanwhile, we are also providing compensation to the victim’s family,” Sukerta explained.

Confirmed separately, Nyoman Darsana of East Denpasar Criminal Police said that based on the interviews of witnesses and further investigation, there appears to be no foul play in Muslimin’s death.

“There was no sign of violence. We think this is purely accidental,” he said.

Muslimin’s co-workers said he was a fun person who had a sense of humor. “He really liked his jokes,” said Miftahul Huda,a former co-worker and neighbor of the victim.
