Narcotics investigators tracked down a man with 41 packs of meth that reportedly totaled 34.29 grams in weight.
The man, identified as 34-year-old SUT, was arrested based on police intel that there was a dealer working in the Dauh Puri Kauh Village area, Denpasar Police Drug Unit Head I Gede Ganefo told Tribun Bali.
After further investigation, police learned the identity of SUT, a man from Boyolali, Central Java.
Ganefo said that police conducted a search at Jl. Teuku Umar dan Jl. Pulau Misol last Wednesday, when they came across SUT.
But police did not directly find drugs on SUT. It was after an interrogation that they learned of the 41 packs of meth, weighing 34.29 grams hidden in the residence of SUT.
“SUT has already confessed to being a dealer,” Ganefo told Tribun on Sunday.
Police say they are still investigating the case further.
