Pandawa Beach on the Bukit Peninsula in Kutuh Village used to be one of our favorites in Bali with its clear turquoise waters perfect for swimming, white sand, and jutting cliff landscapes.
But apparently all good things must come to an end now that tourists are dumped there by the busload and there are plans reportedly underway to pump up the budget for the area’s infrastructural development to Rp 15 billion.
The multi-billion rupiah budget has largely been going into road building and parking area construction, reports Tribun Bali.
Kutuh Village secretary I Nyoman Camang told Tribun that development using this money will be completed this year and residents hope that the arrangement of parking and roads will make travelers more comfortable at Pandawa.
And let’s not forget that Waldorf Astoria will be opening up a luxury resort at Pandawa in 2017, so there’s also contruction for that going on.
