The count of victims of an alleged Australian pedophile in Bali is now up to 15.
Bali Police spokesman Hery Wiyanto says that the 15 people strongly believed to be victims were identified from a list found in the suspect’s possessions.
“After we checked their names, found the people, and looked into them, they claimed to be victims,” he said, as quoted by Republika.
Wiyanto further explained that there as many 32 victims Bali Police suspect may have been abused by 70-year-old Australian man Robert Andrew Fiddel Ellis, but so far just 15 of them have been met and questioned by police over the alleged sexual crimes.
Police say on average, the alleged molestations happened when the children were not at school and the Australian would shop at Pasar Badung, Denpasar.
Ellis was arrested at his home in Tabanan, Bali on Jan. 11. Police are confident about pressing charges once the investigation wraps up.
