Masses of people are making their way back home for Idul Fitri, the Muslim holiday next week that marks the end of fasting month Ramadan.
Many of those people are Javanese exiting Bali at the moment, who could be seen on Friday morning in the major queue stretching a reported four kilometers at West Bali’s Port of Gilimanuk, the main crossing point between Bali and Java.
Tribun Bali observed that the line of four-wheeled vehicles (like private cars and minibuses) ran four kilometers long while two wheeled vehicles (i.e. motorcycles) made a line of about one kilometers. Busy, busy.
