Members of the mass organization Laskar Bali crowded around Denpasar District Court on Thursday to offer solidarity to three of their members, on trial for murder.
“We have come here to provide support to them,” Laskar Bali Deputy Chairman Gung Degung said, as quoted by Okezone.
The three defendants, identified as Made Budiartha, Tri Yulianto, and Wayan Slamet, are on trial for the murder of Royal Palace Karaoke & Spa’s director I Komang Budiarta at Luhur Arta Kencana shopping complex on Jl. Diponegoro, Denpasar.
Budiarta reportedly died after he was violently stabbed on September 23, 2015, with mortal slash wounds to the chest, hand, and stomach.
Laskar Bali previously said it was providing legal assistance for its members suspected of the murder.
