Mass organization Laskar Bali reportedly managed to collect 2,000 bags of blood on Saturday.
The organization held the blood drive as a part of a series of events to mark its 14 year anniversary in Bajra Sandhi Square, Renon, Denpasar, according to Tribun Bali.
The theme of the drive was “each drop of blood matters,” Gung Iwan, chairman of the blood drive committee explained to Tribun.
At least 5,000 members of the controversial Laskar Bali participated in the event.
