A New Zealand woman has reportedly been arrested at Bali’s Ngurah Rai Airport on drug charges.
The kiwi was flying from to Bali from Melbourne, Newshub reports.
The New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs has somewhat acknowledged the arrest, saying that they are “aware of the detention of a New Zealand citizen in Bali.”
The woman was reportedly found at the airport with meth, but reports have not mentioned the quantity of the drug.
New Zealand man Antony de Malmanche was sentenced to 15 years in prison after he got caught at Bali’s airport with 1.7 kilograms of meth in his backpack.
