West Denpasar Police have reportedly not yet been able to nail down and capture a suspect for the death of a 22-year-old at a dangdut concert over the weekend.
The search is still on around the city of Denpasar and other regions in Bali province for more than one person, West Denpasar Police Chief Wisnu Wardana told Tribun Bali. But the police are also exploring the possibility that the unidentified perpetrator left the island.
Arik Rahmat Dani, 22, was reportedly harassed, beaten, and stabbed after watching dangdut on Jl. Mahendradatta, Denpasar on Saturday. There had apparently been some sort of disturbance during that show that is believed to have triggered the violence towards Dani.
