Kahiyang Ayu, Indonesian president Joko Widodo’s daughter, has published her pre-wedding photos to Instagram and one of the shots is set on Bali’s gorgeous Nusa Penida island.
In the photo, Kahiyang, 26, and her soon-to-be husband stroll off into the sunset, walking down a Nusa Penida beach in matching batik.
Nusa Penida is a small rugged island off the southeast coast of mainland Bali, growing in popularity, but still relatively undeveloped compared to the tourist hub of South Bali.
Kahiyang, Jokowi’s only daughter, is set to wed her fiance Bobby Affif Nasution on Nov. 8 in Solo, Central Java, her father’s hometown.
Most of the “first couple’s” pre-wedding photos seem to have been taken not so far from Solo. The couple poses next to an elephant at Borobudur, the world’s largest Buddhist temple, located in Magelang, Central Java, and another shot shows them in the city of Yogyakarta, gazing into each other’s eyes, with the majestic Mount Merapi in the background.
