A woman from Jembrana has reportedly been made the victim of revenge porn after her former lover shared her nude photos onto social media. Police have confirmed the reports but say they have yet to receive an official complaint regarding the case.

“We got the information, but no one has yet to file a report,” Yogie Pramagita from the Jembrana Police told Tribun-Bali.
The photos are reportedly screen captures of a video call that were uploaded by the woman’s ex-lover after she failed to fulfill his blackmail demand of IDR 30 million (USD 2,100).
“We’d heard it’s about money. The boyfriend asked for IDR 30 million, but was only given IDR 10 million … I don’t know how but [the photos] got around. It’s the talk of the town here, people discuss it in coffee shops,” a source told Tribun-Bali.
According to a report from the Jawa Pos network, the photos were uploaded more than a week ago on Facebook from an account under the name Wayan. After the photos went viral, however, the account seems to have been deleted.
