An Italian tourist was reportedly found dead in Sayan, Ubud at a pemandian umum (public bath) early on Friday morning.
It’s believed that the 27-year-old Italian man died after slipping and falling in the bath.
The Italian had been living in the area, in Banjar Penestanan Kaler, for the past three months, traditional neighborhood leadership told local newspaper Tribun Bali.
He was said to have regularly frequented the bath.
The man’s body was found by a local resident at the scene, an estimated 10 minutes after he died.
